If it's the pet sensor tag, usually tags are worn on the pet's neck, and tags with a receiver, the receiver need to connect with the door opener, when the pet enters the receiver induction range, the door will open;
If it's a infrared sensor, something like this one, it should be installed in a low position in order to sense short pets, and then open the door.

As for the electric lock, there is lock terminal with the door opener, but we don't have a special lock for this door opener, there is no matching mounting bracket, if you can find the right bracket, you can install this magnetic lock or other electric locks.

The door will be triggered to open if the sensor is in the sensing range. If the power goes out, the door can be opened manually; The opening and closing speed are adjustable, opening speed is adjustable from 10-41cm/s, closing speed is 12-22cm/s adjustable;
If someone or pets is on the path when the door is closing, the door will rebounds to open, but the rebound is a bit strong, so we recommend install a safety sensor for pets.
